Healing through sound has been used for thousands of years. Yogis believe sound is the origin of our very existence, that we all vibrated into being. Kundalini Yoga uses sound and Gong as a deep healing and transformational tool. When the Gong is skilfully played it can bring many benefits. The Gong impacts the body and its meridians. It can relieve stress, reduce anxiety, bring a deeper awareness of self and prepare the mind to meditate. Gongs provide the entry point to self-recovery, they change the feelings that are blocked within the body by cutting the thoughts that sustain and recreate the feelings. A gong bath can pull an individual back from “the edge” and create a different platform for their existence. The experience can be delightful, exciting, challenging or arousing. This depends on the individual. 

Our gong healing sound showers begin with a short Kundalini kriya to guide the Prana (life force) through the body and open the heart. When we open our hearts we can give and receive love without fear, anger or resentment, and experience compassion. Then you lay down and are bathed in the sounds of the Gong and healing crystal bowls. Together with mantra and the power of chanting your whole being is blessed with the healing power of divine sound.
