MEET NAMO DEV
Ayurvedic and Holistic Practitioner
Namo Dev is in lock down in Melbourne for the last couple of months, and after another one of our long inspiring conversations on the phone, I thought how do we share her uplifting insights with others.
ALIGNING WITH THE RHYTMS OF NATURE
As spring approaches, the days become brighter and warmer. Winters chill begins to melt away and liquify, saturating the earth with moisture. The environment around us becomes fertile with growth. In our living spaces we open up doors and windows allowing the spring air in, an invitation for renewal. Naturally, our own physiology also changes. After a long winter, we may feel a little heavy and sluggish. With springs high moisture levels, this sluggishness can turn into congestion, colds and allergies. As a result, this is the prime season to revitalise and rejuvenate our deepest tissues by eliminating the improperly digested matter that have accumulated over winter. When we take the opportunity to do this we find ourselves with a renewed sense of vitality instead of being further weighed down by springs potential aggravations.
During this session you will learn the importance of aligning with the rhythms of nature. We will begin with an invigorating yogic practice followed by a discussion on the qualities of spring and how to maintain balance using the principles of Āyurveda. You will be guided through lifestyle and nutritional routines appropriate for the season, as well as the opportunity to follow through with a cleanse, promoting a healthy.
transition between seasons.
