We're super excited to announce we're expanding CHC to the Central Coast. This means we'll be able to offer kundalini, gong baths, deep meditation experiences, and workshops to our Community on the Coast. Yay!! We don't have our own place yet, so for now will hold our events in some of the beautiful halls and spaces up there.
Our first event we will be celebrating the full moon energy with a Kundalini Gong Bath, Sound Shower. The full moon affects the depths of our emotional self – pulling buried emotions to the surface of our consciousness. During this time, the barriers to the subconscious mind drop to release the vibrations of the past through memories, emotions, buried wounds and pain. This is an opportunity to bring into the light hidden aspects of yourself. This full moon is in Libra, which brings with it an opportunity to take time out to slow things down, go inwards and release that stress and find new balance and harmony.
With a short set of kundalini yoga, we'll move that stagnant energy thats been keeping us stuck in those old hidden patterns. When we raise the kundalini energy, the chakras start to spinning, and our heart opens. Releasing this energy enables us to receive the powerful healing vibrations of the ancient gong.
The gong impacts the body and its meridians. All you have to do is lay down, relax and let the body renew itself. When played correctly the gong can relieve stress, reduce anxiety, bring a deeper awareness of self and prepare the mind to meditate. Gongs provide a entry point to self-recovery, they change the feelings that are blocked within the body by cutting the thoughts that sustain and recreate the feelings.
After the gong is the perfect time to meditate, as the heart is open and the mind less busy. Osho referred to meditation as the 'observer of the mind'. When we meditate we start to become seperate from the mind, we start to become the witness. Imagine you are looking at the light; you are not the light, you are the one who is looking at the light. If you are watching the flowers; you are not the flowers, you are the watcher. This is the technique of meditation, to become the observer.
We look forward to connecting with you at our first Central Coast event. There'll be time to share with others over a chai.
