Befriend your inner darkness with the light of the full moon.

Updated: Apr 4

March’s Full Moon is a time to balance light and dark, letting go, and accepting the impermanence of things as the season changes.

With this Full Moon that quickly follows the Autumn equinox marks the arrival of the season of fall, traditionally seen as a period of changes leading to the dark of winter.

This signals the need to balance light and darkness within us. Far too often, we fear the dark and adore only the light. We can befriend our inner darkness by finding acceptance for our dark moments when there are no answers.

As we watch leaves fluttering to the ground in the fall, we are reminded that nature's cycles are mirrored in our lives. We are surrounded by beauty and then stripped bare to our deepest level. Autumn is a time for letting go and releasing things that have been a burden and reminding us of the impermanence of life.

Sometimes, we just have to practice getting out of the way and let spirit take charge of our lives. Our Full Moon Kundalini Yoga class will take you on this journey by throwing light on all that is dark.

See you on the mat.
